I am Amanda.
I love Jesus. I grew up in a small Virginia town. My family is awesome. I am the proud owner of a ragamuffin kitty ("Ragamuffin" is used here as a shabbily clothed, dirty child, and is not the actual breed of cat.) and a TBxQH horse. I like photography, and I like to paint. My favorite TV shows are America's Next Top Model and Swamp People... which I don't watch much, as my house has no TV, and I prefer to read.. I'm an Austen nerd. I can recite the prologue to the Canterbury Tales in Middle English. I dislike Romeo and Juliet, but love almost everything else Shakespeare. I contra dance and swing dance! I'm jealous of the kid in Free Willy. I've traveled to Costa Rica, France, Nicaragua, South Africa, and Zambia. Snakes weird me out because they don't have legs.
